Then we set off through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (at an altitude of 2260 meters), where we will enjoy the stunning views of the mountains and the Amazigh villages located on its slopes. We will arrive at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987, dating back to the 17th century. This Kasbah is distinguished by its mud-brick architecture and beautiful towers, which made it a filming location for international movies and series such as Game of Thrones in 2013 and Gladiator in 2000.
After wandering its alleys, we will have lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the Kasbah, then continue the trip to the city of Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. We will visit the film studio established in 1983 and the Taourirt Kasbah dating back to the 18th century, then continue to Skoura where we will visit the Amridil Kasbah, considered one of the most famous historical Kasbahs in the southeast.
We will continue to Kalaat M’Gouna, known for its cultivated fields and famous for rose farming.
