Day 1: Casablanca → Chefchaouen

Here, you can admire its impressive architecture and unique details before heading north through the coastal road and the green mountains. Along the way, you can stop to rest and enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Moroccan countryside, passing traditional villages and farms scattered along the route.

Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, the tour continues through the narrow alleys of the old city, paved with cobblestones and lined with blue-painted buildings. Day 2: Chefchaouen → Fes

Upon arrival, you’ll start a tour with a local guide to explore the old city (medina), one of the largest preserved medieval cities in the world. Wander through its narrow streets and traditional markets filled with local products like leather, pottery, and brassware. You will also visit historic kasbahs, such as Bab Boujloud or the Moulay Idriss Kasbah, where you can imagine how these forts once protected the city from invaders and admire their towers and massive walls, feeling the depth of Moroccan history. At the desert camp, you are welcomed with tea and sweets. After a short rest, you enjoy a traditional dinner. Later, everyone gathers around the campfire to listen to traditional Amazigh (Berber) music and learn about Berber culture under a star-filled sky. It’s an experience that stays with you forever.

On this day, you’ll wake up early to witness the sunrise over the golden dunes of Merzouga—a breathtaking scene that paints the sky in shades of orange and gold. The journey continues toward Rissani, a historic town that once served as a major hub for Saharan trade and remains famous for its traditional markets (held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). Next, you’ll pass through Erfoud, well known for its date production and rare fossils extracted from the desert.

The road then leads to Tinghir, a small town surrounded by lush palm groves, from where you’ll head to the Todgha Gorge. This natural wonder is renowned for its towering cliffs and dramatic canyon, with rock walls that rise over 300 meters high.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Boumalne Dades, where you can marvel at the stunning rock formations known as the “Monkey Fingers” and admire the changing colors of the landscape as the sun sets. After a short tour of the area, settle into a cozy local riad for a peaceful night in the heart of the Dades Valley.
