Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca → Visit Hassan II Mosque → Drive to Rabat [120Km]

At the start of our Morocco itinerary 8 days, we will welcome you at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca and begin the tour right away. Our first stop is the Hassan II Mosque, the largest religious landmark in Morocco and one of the biggest mosques in the world. It stands on the Atlantic coast and is known for its high minaret and traditional Moroccan architecture.\

After the visit, we head directly to Rabat, the capital city, which is about a 1.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel or riad, then explore the main historical sites, including the Hassan Tower, part of an unfinished 12th-century mosque, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where the former king and his two sons, King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah, are buried. If time allows, we’ll also take a short walk through the Kasbah of the Udayas, a walled neighborhood overlooking the Bou Regreg River. We spend the night in Rabat.

Next, we continue to the Cedar Forest, where we may encounter Barbary macaques living in their natural habitat, a special moment for nature lovers. We then pass through Midelt, a town located between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, also known for its fruit production. It’s a great place to stop for lunch and rest.
